Great image, I love the light, sketchy feel to this. Plus, I really like that costume you used, it really sets her apart as more of the Superman family. I like the white bottoms to her boots too, kind of adds a more youthful, teenaged touch to her design. I like the tones too, they set off the piece in a nice, simple way.
OMG, do i like the batfam? It's only my most favorite fam of all time!
I love Robin and Batgirl with the passion of a thousand suns! And then of course Jason, bringing the delicious drama. I missed Cassandra's run as Batgirl, but she sounds like someone I'd like, as well. There is so much interaction and so much potential for great storytelling with these characters - I can't get enough.
That being said, Superboy and Supergirl are very strong contenders. I really don't understand why comics insist on messing with SG - so in my head she's more of an amalgamation of all the qualities I like.
I love batfam, and yeah. :] I totally get you on the SG thing. I kind of treat all the characters I like that way to avoid frustration, 'cause each writer kinda portrays them differently (you know, like complete opposites, yeah yeah?). Hnngh. I agree. I really like the set up they had a few years ago with Dick, Tim and Cass, cause I think Dick was the leader, and Tim was the brains, and Cass was just the bamf. And Oracle was kinda the, "Don't fuck this up kids, here's some logic."
Would LOVE to see more art of these guys from you, you have such lovely rotation!
Hahaha, Hai new friend! I'm so glad someone gets my excitement about the batfamily. XD I wish every bat book had more Oracle, all the time. Babs really is the one keeping it together for the rest of the boys & girls, isn't she. Even when Bruce is not self-absorbed to the point of neglect. I hope at some point a writer will give her freedom to put Damian in his place.
Ah, so much disfunctionality. <3 There are about a billion Tim doodles in my sketchbooks somewhere (well, maybe not quite a billion...) I'm finally getting skilled enough that I can put my thoughts on paper, and I ain't gonna stop drawing these guys anytime soon.
